1987West Coast Bridge was founded in Benicia, California as a heavy civil bridge contractor.

2001West Coast Bridge and Randal & Blake merge to create American Civil Constructors.

2002American Civil Constructors acquired Hurlen Construction Co. to expand capabilities to include marine and port construction.

2006Chicago Growth Partners invested in ACC.

2010Insight Equity purchased American Civil Constructors, Inc. and American Civil Constructors West Coast, Inc. from Chicago Growth Partners and combined them with Meadow Valley Contractors, Inc. and Saiia Construction Company. The organization divested Hurlen Construction Co. and discontinued their marine division.

2015Saiia, Meadow Valley Contractors, American Civil Constructors West Coast, Inc. and American Civil Constructors, Inc. merged to form The ACC Companies (legal name is Consolidated Construction Services) through significant restructuring/refinancing. American Civil Constructors West Coast, Inc. was reclassified from a Corporation to a Limited Liability Company and their name was changed to American Civil Constructors West Coast LLC.

2018American Civil Constructors West Coast opened a second office in McLeansville, NC.

2022IEA and its affiliated companies were acquired by MasTec and are now part of the organization's Clean Energy and Infrastructure segment.
